Sean Beichner Leads Freshman Lions To Victory
Greensburg, PA - Sean Beichner had the hot hand Friday night (10/5/07) scoring 4 goals in a 4 - 1 contest with State College. That was Greensburg Salem's second straight win in the Franklin Fall Tournament. Contributing assists were Tyler Brinton and Regie Garris each with two and Nick Garner with one. Dom Antonucci had another strong performance as goaltender rejecting 24 out of 25 shots.
With this win the Freshman Lions earn a berth in the semi-finals scheduled for October 15, 2007 in Delmont at a time to be determined. The next game will be against Penn Trafford on Tuesday October 9, 2007 at Center Ice Arena in Delmont. Game time is 7:00 PM.
